The census-designated place has seen rapid growth in the past several decades. Former towns have been included in Land O’ Lakes including Ehren, Gowers Corner, and Denham. There are also several shopping establishments, schools, a library and new neighborhoods built inthe area. Elementary, middle schools, charter, private and high schools are incorporated in Land O’ Lakes along with notable companies like Artix Entertainment.
Several attractions in LOL include:
- Cypress Creek Preserve – This 3,000-hectare park in Pasco County features cypress, hardwood forests, longleaf pine, palmetto and slash pine trees. There are several animals here including pigs, gopher tortoise, armadillos, butterflies, woodpeckers, and various species of birds. There are grazing lands surrounding the area that has seen development in terms of suburban housing in the past few years.Horseback riding, picnic tables, and camping is allowed here.
- Conner Preserve – This natural area spans over 2,980 acres and is preserved for water management. The area has marshes, sandhill ridges, pine flatwoods and cypress sloughs. It is available for biking, hiking, camping, model airplane flying and horseback riding.
- Plantation Palms Golf Club – Enjoy a round of golf with the whole family. They offer a lighted driving range and miniature golf facilities in a smaller course. They offer affordable prices and buffet meals for breakfast or brunch.
Have Any Problems Moving to Land O Lakes?
Certain people love Land O Lakes. It is one place that is in Tampa but despite the railroad, it is quiet. There are open roads and tons of land to spread out a bit. You’ll enjoy yourself because its a great location and ultra secluded.
